Svenne Hedlund was a Swedish singer, born 1 March, 1945 in Solna, died from complictions due to covid while on tour 3 December, 2022 in Värnamo. He was mainly known as the singer in the Swedish group (where , later in , played keyboards), who got their breakthrough in 1965. In 1968, the American singer Charlotte Walker, later known as , joined the group. Between 1969 and 2014 they were married and formed the singing duo . The couple lived in Sävsjö for many years. From 2005 onwards, Hedlund did a large number of shows with . In these shows, musicians from 's original bands featured as guest artists, such as , , , . In 2007, Svenne and the band recorded three songs at , Memphis, Tennessee. Svenne Hedlund was inducted into the Radio Nostalgia Hall of Fame on April 4, 2014.
