Review by Elis Örjes

Pyramids' latest album, Drunk And Disorderly Sufferer, is a wild and unpredictable ride through the darkest corners of experimental metal. From the opening track "Suffering For The Sake Of Suffering" to the closing notes of "Disorderly Conduct," this album is a relentless assault on the senses.

The band's unique blend of heavy riffs, dissonant melodies, and haunting vocals creates a soundscape that is both unsettling and mesmerizing. The songs are filled with unexpected twists and turns, making it impossible to predict where the music will take you next.

One standout track is "Drowning In Despair," which showcases the band's ability to create a haunting atmosphere with sparse instrumentation and haunting vocals. Another highlight is "Raging Against The Machine," a frenzied track that perfectly captures the album's title.

About The Pyramids

Formed in the mid-sixties by seven musicians, first made their mark as The Bees then as Symarip, also supported Prince Buster on a UK tour in 1967. Soon after, the group was signed to President, changed their name to The Pyramids and found UK chart success with "Train Tour To Rainbow City". Throughout the remainder of the sixties and early seventies, the septet worked tirelessly, cutting discs under a number of aliases, most notably Symarip and Seven Letters. They moved to Germany in 1971, performing reggae and Afro-rock under the name .
